Angel on My Shoulder

When I was little I had someone very special to me

Who made me feel safe, happy, joyful, and loved,

And she could make me laugh and smile,

And then one day she went to heaven

I never felt so much sadness,

But through all the love she gave me

And through everything she taught me,

I know I’m not alone for my Ma-maw is now my angel

on my shoulder
