School is Cool

Why is school so boring and long?

The teachers confront you and say you are wrong.

It’s very hard work, what we do everyday.

To make things worse you can’t even play

I tell my mom I wish there was no school.

She says if you do you aren’t very cool.

Then she adds, do you ever wonder what teachers go

through?

They try to give a good education but you just boo.

I think about this again and again,

Kids shout and complain but teachers are really a friend.

So when I go back to school I say:

Thank you for putting up with us day after day.

My kids don’t like school they shout and they squeal,

Until I tell them how their teachers might feel.

I hope they get this in their growing brain

Though they pout and shout their teachers teach them

anyway.

Thanks to all those teachers who put up with us day by

day.

Thank You all those schools who provide a place for

education,

Who cares if we never get to play?

Now I know addition, subtraction, and even

multiplication.

You know, teachers seem as smart as Einstein,

In fact, if it were my choice I’d go back anytime
