The Times I Went Fishing

Sun rippling on the water

Wind makes waves on its surface and I,

The 8 year old, feel like a hero as I

Fish for the first time.

I can hear my uncle

and my cousin saying, “if you don’t

catch a fish then you will have to wear a dress.

JERK. As I reeled up an 8 pound bass.

I love going fishing with

My uncle and my cousin now.
