Middle School:
I hate
poetry so much,
It hurts
my brain.
Even the
simpler poems,
Like those
about rain.
Yes I hate
poetry,
What’s it
to you?
It is so
boring,
What can I
do?
Oh, I
despise poetry,
Even at
lunch.
Complexity
kills me,
Do I
complain too much?
Next time
I have to write poetry,
I’ll plan
an excuse.
Maybe I’ll
get out of it,
Oh, what’s
the use?
