Anime Manga Jpop at the library

Tokyopop is coming to see us in person as part of their nationwide bus tour "America's Greatest Otaku Contest"

Register to win a trip to Tokyo. (You must be between the ages of 13 and 17)

They will be here at Ridgway Memorial Library in Shepherdsville, KY. between 10 am - 1pm.

Will are holding a special mini-mini-mini-con to show them our Otakuness in full glory. They will do their thing and we will do ours. We are planning a mini-mini-mini Chiisaicon. It will have events and panels in honor of their visit. We want to show them the the best Otaku in the land live in Kentucky!

The reason Tokyopop is coming here is because of what we have accomplished here over the last year! When they were looking around for places to visit, they saw our web sites and thought we looked like we were having fun! They want to interview us about what it is like putting on a con... the first year's experience. We want a big turnout for this event to really make an impression, so help us spread the word.

Anime Manga Jpop Group

If you have an interest in anime, manga, and jpop come join us at the Ridgway Memorial Library. We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday's of each month at 6 p.m. This program is for high school age only.

A once a month anime, manga, and jpop group is now meeting at the Dorothea Stottman Library on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6pm - 8pm. This program is for high school age only.

Have you ever tried Ramune soda? It comes in a glass bottle sealed with a marble. The first time you see it, it takes a little figuring out to open it. Flavors include pineapple, kiwifruit, melon, strawberry, orange, lychee, Blue Hawaii, peach, wasabi, Kimchi, bubble gum, octopus, mango, raspberry and curry. We have sampled many of the flavors including Takoyaki (octopus). It goes good with pocky.
