		Sketching Faces & Figures Wednesday, May 22 @ HL 6:00–7:30 p.m. Come learn the basics of sketching human faces and figures. Ages 11 and up. Please register online.
		Matchstick Mayhem Thursday, May 23 @ LJ 5:30–7:30 p.m. Use burnt matchsticks to design your own one-of-a-kind work of art! Ages 11 and up. Please register online.
		Magazine Basketry Tuesday, May 28 @ MW 5:30–7:30 p.m. Come learn to repurpose old magazines as a unique and colorful basket. Ages 11 and up. Please register online.
		Photo Coasters Thursday, May 30 @ LJ 5:30–7:30 p.m. Bring in some favorite family photos to make a set of personal coasters! Ages 16 and up. Please register online.
		Summer Reading Kickoff Party Monday, June 3 @ RM 1:00–3:00 p.m. Join us to get our 2013 Summer Reading program off to an excellent start, with games, prizes, and more! All ages. Register online, or just drop in.
		Chiisai Mini-Con Admission: $5 for full event or $3 for Rave only Saturday, June 22 @ RM 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.  Anime,Games, Panels, Etc. 9:00 p.m.–11 p.m. The Rave Get a preview of what's coming for Chiisaicon 2013 at our first annual one-day only mini-con. Admission is collected at the door; no registration required.
		Blogging Basics: Tips for Sharing Your Passion Online Tuesday, June 25 @ HL 12:00–1:00 p.m. Interested in blogging but not sure how to get started? We can help! Ages 13 and up. Registration required.

Anime Manga JK-Drama Group

Anime, manga, and J and K-Pop enthusiasts are welcome to drop in at any of our open meetings held three times monthly. See the program calendar for dates. We discuss, share favorites, and hold small events throughout the year. We plan and manage the Chisaiicon (small convention) event that is held every summer. Chiisaicon Planning Committee

Do you love anime? Or maybe you just want some community/ organizational experience for college applications?  Come help us plan our ever-growing Anime and Gaming Convention! We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays every month, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ridgway Memorial Library. High school ages and up. Crochet for Beginners

Have you always wanted to try crochet? Register for our 4-part beginners' class to let us know you're interested. We are now scheduling classes at all library locations. Dates and meeting times will be determined based on registration. Ages 13 and up.

Are you an aspiring writer looking for a judgment-free zone to hone your craft? Come join this informal gathering and express yourself with creative writing! Monthly meetings at three BCPL locations; ages 11 and up. Please register online.

Knitting for Beginners

Have you always wanted to try knitting? We are currently scheduling classes for beginners! If you would like to be notified of upcoming classes, please fill out and submit this interest form. The class is free and all materials will be provided for you. Ages 13 and up.

Teen Computer Lab

The Hillview Library Computer Lab is open every Tuesday from 3–5 p.m. just for teens! Just come by and drop in. Space is limited. High school ages.
