Here is a chance to enjoy and work with two of the best storytellers in the nation. Bullitt County Public Libraries is offering a series of programs featuring professional storytellers Mary Hamilton and Cynthia Changaris. This series is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. Both storytellers are a joy to listen to and they promise to share some of their favorite stories with you. They are also enthusiastic and gentle teachers of the art of storytelling.

Program Details:

“Discovering and Developing Your Power Story”
Saturdays, August 8, 15 10:00 – Noon
In this two session workshop for adults, you will be given tools that prompt you to remember, shape and tell a story from your life experience. The activities are supportive, non-threatening, fun, and facilitate the retelling of powerful life stories.

Sunday Celebration of Storytelling
Sunday, August 16 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Cynthia and Mary will tell stories. Participants from the other three events will be invited and encouraged to join in by telling stories and by showcasing their work.
Yes, you may attend this event even if you did not participate in any of the storytelling workshops!
