Book Donation Policy

In order for the library to accept donated materials the materials must:

A. Be in good condition.

B. Have no ragged cover or pages.

C. Have no "smell", mildew, or water damage.

Only 10 hardbacks accepted per donation.

Any material accepted as a donation may either be added to the library’s collection, used as a fundraiser, or disposed of in some other manner.

Only certain types of materials will be accepted as donations. The following guidelines will be used to determine whether the library will accept the material.

Music CD’s, Books on Tape, and Videos -- original copies only

Paperbacks --

Romances -- Published in the last 5 years

Westerns – last 5 years

Science Fiction -- last 5 years

Mysteries last -- last 5 years

Others Paperbacks-- within 1 year

Hardbacks -- Published within the last 2 years

Hardcover Children’s Picture Books -- Published within the last 2 years

Paperback Children’s Picture Books -- Not accepted

Textbooks -- Not accepted

Magazines -- Not accepted
