" The Faery's Kiss" - A Fairytale Romantic Comedy!

Directed by Bill Breuer, Artistic Director 

for the Bullitt County Community Theatre 

 

· A Full Length Adult Romantic Comedy Fairy Tale!

· The fantasy stage play that the whole family can enjoy!

· This show has all the ingredients of great folktales: love, magic, mystery, humour and good triumphing over bad - all the things that have made traditional storytelling so famous for a millennium!

 

Dates will be in March 2009. Exact times to be announced soon.

 

Cast Breakdown: 3 Males, 5 Females and a few "extras".

· Fay (Fay Sprite): Youthful image -high energy, self assured.  Must be able to perform an entire spectrum of emotions and be good at learning lines!

· Thomas – Bachelor: Age 25 - middle aged. Also needs to be good at learning lines!

· Mrs. Corrigan – Housekeeper: older, cheerful demeanor, energetic and lovable!.

· Mr. Chetham – Lawyer, Sleazy!

· Miss Charlene Doll - A Seductress.

· Dr. Goodfellow – Very jovial, and somewhat unusual character.

· Mrs. Flannigan - Town busybody

· Mrs. Gimbal - Another busybody

 

"The Faery's Kiss" provides wonderful opportunities for actors and crew to work with some special effects and stage magic. For the actors, it provides for a range of ages and allows for each of them to craft a performance with a range of emotions, motivations and physicality.  The Bullitt County Community Theatre joins other companies in the US & Canada in producing this show.
