PAY SCALE
1. New employees start at step one of the pay scale.
2. Step 2 is reached after working 1040 hours and receiving a satisfactory employee evaluation from their supervisor.
3. Each subsequent step is reached after an additional 2080 hours (full time) or one fiscal year (part time) is worked and an annual evaluation given.
4. An annual raise may be given based on the libraries ability to fund them.
5. Current employees will be placed at the appropriate step. The date of implementation of the pay scale will be used for employee's anniversary date for the purpose of raises.
6. An advancement to the "certified" pay scale, at the same step level will be given upon proof of certification for position, i.e. experience, para-professional, professional, on the date of certification.
7. Part-Time employees will receive paid holidays if they are normally scheduled to work that day. Vacation time will be accrued on actual hours worked.
